Piano, Voice
Isaias Degollado is a veteran educator passionate about helping students of all ages and backgrounds achieve their musical goals. He received his formal education at the University of Houston's Moores School of Music, earning his Bachelor of Music with emphases in pedagogy, piano, and voice. He is TEA/SBEC Certified in EC-12 Instruction and taught music and choir in Texas public schools for over a decade before focusing on private lessons.
Isaias loves connecting one-on-one with students and is adept at tailoring his lessons to each student's individual needs and interests. He is classically trained, with specialties in jazz, pop, and theory, depending on the student's interests. He builds a solid foundation in the basics of music theory while also taking into account what the student would like to play.
Mr. Degollado's experience includes teaching choir and jazz at the high school level, directing the middle school choir, and teaching AP music theory. He offers piano lessons to students of all ages from beginner through intermediate levels and voice lessons to students of all ages from beginner through advanced levels.
