Piano, Voice
Isaias Degollado is a veteran educator who is passionate about helping students of all ages and backgrounds to achieve their musical goals. He received his formal education at the University of Houston's Moores School of Music, earning his Bachelor of Music with emphases in pedagogy, piano, and voice. He is TEA/SBEC Certified in EC-12 Instruction, and taught music and choir in Texas public schools for over a decade before turning his focus to private lessons.
Isaias loves connecting one-on-one with students and is adept at tailoring his lessons to the individual needs and interests of each student. He is classically trained, with additionally specialties in jazz, pop, and theory, depending on the interests of the student. He builds a solid foundation in the basics of music theory while also taking into account what the student would like to play.
Mr. Degollado's past experience includes teaching both choir and jazz at the high school level, directing middle school choir, and teaching AP music theory to . He offers piano lessons to students of all ages at the beginner through intermediate levels, and voice lessons to students of all ages at beginner through advanced levels.
