Francesco Puglisi has been a devoted musician throughout his entire life. Born and raised in Italy, he began his private studies at the age of 7, eventually going on to earn his music degree at the Istituto Musicale Vincenzo Bellini in Catania.
Originally from Sicily, at the age of ten Francesco moved with his family to Rome, where he spent most of his life and eventually met his wife. In 2016 they moved to the United States and welcomed their beautiful baby boy. Now based in Houston, TX, Francesco continues to represent Italian music and culture with his voice and music, with the goal of reaching people's hearts all over the world.
Francesco has many years of experience teaching private students of all ages and skill levels in addition to teaching bands and choirs in the classroom. He specifically tailors his lessons with each student in order to best meet their individual needs and suit their interests. Students learn basic music theory as well as how to best apply that theory to the playing of their instrument. Whether you are preparing for a performance, competition, or audition, or simply learning to play or sing for the fun of it, Francesco can help you grow as a musician and reach your goals.
Francesco describes his genre as "Operatic Pop and Easy Listening." He performs some of his songs in both Italian and English, representing his experience of living in the United States while keeping Italy always in his heart. He also performs in Spanish. In addition to his teaching and performing schedule, Franceso is also a songwriter and composer. He currently teaches voice and piano lessons to students at all levels, and violin, flute, and guitar lessons to students at the beginner through second-year levels.
