Her journey into the world of music began under the influence of iconic figures such as Karen Carpenter and The Benny Goodman Big Band, instilled by her father during her formative years.
At the age of 10, Paula embarked on a formal musical education, delving into the realm of classical piano through The London Royal Schools of Music. Her passion for music led her to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Performance at the esteemed University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa, with a specialization in vocal jazz.
Following the completion of her studies, Paula's diverse talents took her to the airwaves as a radio broadcaster for Classic Fm102.7 in Johannesburg, where she shared her love for music with audiences far and wide.
Driven by a deep-rooted desire to impart her knowledge and passion for music, Paula returned to her alma mater, where she dedicated several years to teaching Vocal Studies and Piano. Her tenure at her old high school served as a testament to her commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians.
